Eat Pray Love

Read the book? Yep. Loved it.

Seen the movie? Not yet, but definitely have plans to.

Eaten the food? What? there's food???

Yes, Chef’s Market in Goodlettsville has planned a three week culinary adventure to coincide with the release of the new movie Eat, Pray, Love, based on Elizabeth Gilbert's best seller.

Earlier this week, they began offering customers the first in the series’ three cuisines- Italian. In the coming weeks they'll progress from Indian to Balinese.

Here's how it works: On weekdays, an entrée that corresponds with the country of the week will be featured, and then on Friday and Saturday nights the menus will be more extensive, including action stations and several authentic dishes of each featured country.

Tonight and tomorrow night's Italian themed dinner will include:

Veal Picata with grilled artichokes, capers and white wine
Chicken Cacciatore
Minestrone

Action stations:
Clams & Linguini
Bruschetta with fresh basil and buffalo mozzarella
Carved herb roasted prime rib

And for Facebook fans; a free scoop of blood orange pomegranate gelato!

Whether you're a fan of the book and/or movie or don't know a thing about either, it's totally worth checking out. Me? I'm thinking Indian or Balinese in my near future....
